BMW Motorcycle Technician
Full-time
A Motorcycle Technician is responsible for the service and/or repair of
motorcycles assigned to them by service management. The Technician must be able
to read and understand service manuals. As a Technician, you will strive to
deliver everything the BMW brand promises.
Responsibilities:
* Properly complete the services and/or repairs for which the Technician is
trained as assigned by management.
* Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
* Maintain an inventory of mechanics tools. Special Tools are provided.
* Properly use the special tools and equipment provided by the Service
Department.
* Produce quality work that evidence pride of workmanship.
* Maintain the work space assigned in an organized and cleanly manner.
* Deliver the Ultimate Customer Experience by showing courtesy to all customers
and personnel.
* Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by
management.
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years BMW/Yamaha Motorcycle service experience
Parts Associate (Yamaha experience ideal)
Responsibilities:
Assist Service Technicians with parts request orders and "walk-in" or
"telephone" customers with their questions and requests.
- Service Department Support - Interface with Service Technicians and
ensure their P&A needs are being met.
- Assist service technicians in determining parts & accessories
requirements for individual jobs.
- Supply cost of parts information on repair orders.
- Update inventory control system and parts catalogue.
- Receive and log merchandise into inventory
Experience:
- Ideally 1+ years of Yamaha parts experience
