Yamaha Pure Sport ATVs

ATV's Pure Sport — Pure Excitement. Nothing works as hard or plays as hard as Yamaha ATV.

Raptor 700R

At the top of the food chain you have little competiton, and with the Raptor 700R, there simply is no other ATV like it. This is truly a lightweight big-bore sport ATV, with an engine designed for torque, and a chassis designed to rail corners. Inspired by the YFZ, the Raptor 700 R has many of the race bred features developed from years on the track, with a little extra comfort built in. With a wider/thicker seat, taller bars and suspension damping geared for the trails, the Raptor has an edge over the YFZ for long distance trail riding. It's more comfortable, has more leg room, and with all that torque, you aren't searching for gears every corner. So if you're looking for the ultimate sport ATV, and spend most of your time on the trails, look no further. The Raptor 700 R… let them eat YOUR dust.

YFZ 450 SE2

A legend in its own time, the YFZ450 is the most successful 4-stroke ATV in racing. Of course, there are others who like to follow, but that's familiar turf for Yamaha - blazing trails in motorcycle and ATV competition.

Raptor 350 SE2

The Raptor 350 SE2 is a direct descendant of one of our best all-time sport ATV's, the Warrior 350. We slimmed it down with a reconfigured geometry and lightened the load with a wealth of weight-saving components. The result is a ferocious but strikingly nimble beast with a voracious appetite for tough terrain and a highly evolved sense of adventure.

Banshee 350

It wasn't hard to come up with a name for our first twin-cylinder ATV, power-packed with a 350cc liquid-cooled engine. It screams. With dual carbs and exhaust for fierce engine performance, and a rigid, lightweight frame design for knife-sharp turns and inhuman acceleration. It all adds up to the ultimate 2-stroke Sport ATV. For your competition, it's one truly scary opponent.

YFZ 450 SE

A legend in its own time, the YFZ450 SE2 is the most successful 4-stroke ATV in racing. Of course, there are others who like to follow, but that's familiar turf for Yamaha - blazing trails in motorcycle and ATV competition. The YFZ450 SE2 continues to move toward perfection, with a few updates and changes.

RAPTOR 700R SE2

The Raptor 700 R SE and SE2 both add a few special touches to the already class leading Raptor. Including all of the powerful features of the standard Raptor 700, these limited production versions add front and rear super high performance piggy-back clicker shocks with high and low speed compression plus rebound damping adjustments. Not only do these Raptors have suspension arguably better than the standard YFZ, they are also wrapped in bold premium graphics packages that will stand out in any crowd. By far the most aggressive Raptors ever built.

FAQ

Q. What is the advantage of having Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)?

A. Comfort and ground clearance. IRS allows each rear tire to move independently of the other, helping to isolate the rider from terrain changes. This translates to increased rider comfort, reducing fatigue and potentially allowing you to ride longer. Additionally the rear differential can be positioned to offer maximum ground clearance.

Q. What is the advantage of having a Monocross (swing arm with solid axle) rear suspension?

A. For sport ATVs, Monocross offers added cornering performance. The solid rear axle helps limit body roll, and keeps the weight down by eliminating the need for a rear sway bar.

Q. If I need technical assistance for my ATV, who can I call?

A. Just contact Pacific Yamaha's service department. Their service technicians are factory trained on Yamaha products and are best capable to answer all of your questions.

Q. Where can I ride my ATV?

A. The rules and regulations for off-road riding vary depending on your Municipality. Here are a few links to help you find a place to ride in your area. Remember, liability insurance is often a requirement for riding on public land. Most off-road trails are multi use. Always wear a helmet, tread lightly and respect others that use the trails.

Q. What is the major difference between the Kodiak 400 and the Kodiak 450?

A. Engine displacement and features. Both offer electric start, on-command push button four wheel drive (4WD) and Yamaha's exclusive Ultramatic Transmission.  Besides a larger engine, the Kodiak 450 adds a low range transmission, push button front differential lock and LCD gauges.
