Yamaha Off Road Competition

2007 YZ 125 2-stroke

Winning just got easier ... While some manufacturers are putting all their eggs in one basket, the engineers at Yamaha believe that choice is good. So whether your weapon of choice is a berm blasting two stroke or arm stretching four stroke, we have your needs covered.

YZ250 2-stroke

Winning just got easier ... The YZ250 has a little more power, enhanced suspension performance and reduced weight. Out of the crate race "goodies" include a lightweight Beta titanium spring on the rear shock and new Pro Taper handlebars.

WR 250F

YZ spirit, enduro friendly performance Take the latest YZ250F powerplant, revise the camshafts for more useable low and mid range torque and you have the beginning of off road enduro superiority. Add a new lightweight aluminum frame plus an all new slim line body and you are ready to hit the tight woods or blast across open terrain. Featuring electric starting, YZ inspired suspension, front and rear lights. The new WR250F …YZ based performance in a specially developed enduro machine. Let the mud and dirt fly !!

WR 450F

Power is nothing without controllability. The all new WR450F is a unique blend of the most sought after YZ attributes with the all day rideability necessary for enduro domination. The YZ450F based engine has been specifically tuned to provide tractable performance and low vibration for improved rider comfort. New lightweight aluminum frame, enduro based suspension and all new bodywork provide a light feel and excellent rider maneuverability. The WR450F specially developed enduro machine featuring YZ based performance potential.

YZ 85 2-stroke

With the same chassis and engine technology that goes into every YZ, the scaled-down YZ85 has something in common with you: it's every inch a competitor. The YZ85, with its ultra-rigid high-tensile steel frame and 36mm inverted forks, weighs just 55kg (126lbs.) Powered by a compact but muscular liquid-cooled 85cc engine pumping the revs through a revised six-speed gearbox, this bike's engineered to catch some major air -- and trophies, too. Truly, this is full-sized performance in a scaled-down package.

YZ 450F

In 2006, Yamaha introduced a completely new YZ450F with a new engine and a new aluminum frame. In 2007, the designers put the YZ450F under the microscope to find more areas of improvement. The result was a revised exhaust cam, as well as revised carb and exhaust systems. The work didn't stop there. Attention was also focused on the chassis, suspension and brakes. Numerous components were redesigned to decrease weight and the rear suspension was optimized too. The result is simple … more power, reduced weight and incredible suspension performance.

YZ 250F

Ready to win … right out of the crate Yamaha made a number of detail improvements such as an overall lighter front end, revised rear ride height for improved cornering and new frame with optimized rigidity balance for light, precise handling. The engineers also focused attention on improving the low to mid engine performance with revisions to the intake, exhaust and ignition systems. Loaded with the most sought after "race ready goodies" in the business like Pro Taper Handlebars, wide "ti" footpegs, Excel rims, etc. the YZ250F is ready to roll up to the starting gate right out of the crate.
